TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Grindveil game and website at grindveil.com ("Service"), operated by Grindare Studio Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. We may ask for verification at any time.
2. ACCOUNTS
- You may create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages ("multi-accounting") is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access caused by your failure to protect your account.
- You may not share, sell, trade, or transfer your account to another person.
- We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice or refund.
3. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, automation tools, or any third-party software to interact with the Service.
- Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics. You must report any bugs you discover.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players through in-game chat or any communication channel.
- Use offensive, hateful, or discriminatory language or content.
- Impersonate other players, staff, or any official representative of Grindare Studio.
- Engage in real-money trading (RMT) of in-game items, accounts, or currency.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
4. IN-GAME PURCHASES
- The Service offers optional purchases ("Premium", crystals, cosmetics) using real money via Stripe.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law (including UK Consumer Rights Act 2015).
- You acknowledge that in-game items and currency have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money.
- We reserve the right to modify prices, offerings, and virtual item availability at any time.
- If your account is banned for violating these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund for any purchases made.
5. VIRTUAL ITEMS & CURRENCY
- All virtual items, currency, and characters within the Service are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own them.
- We may modify, nerf, buff, remove, or rebalance any game content (including items, classes, skills, and systems) at any time for game health reasons.
- We are not obligated to compensate players for changes to game balance or content.
6. USER CONTENT & CHAT
- Any content you post through in-game chat, guild names, character names, or other communication features must comply with these Terms.
- We may moderate, remove, or restrict any user content at our sole discretion.
- By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All game assets, code, graphics, audio, text, and other materials within the Service are the property of Grindare Studio Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time, which may result in temporary unavailability.
- We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time. In such case, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
- We are not responsible for loss of game progress, virtual items, or data due to technical issues, bugs, or account actions.
10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grindare Studio Limited, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. TERMINATION
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
- Upon termination, your license to use the Service and all virtual items is revoked.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or our Discord server. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.
