What is Grindveil?

Grindveil is a free browser idle RPG MMO. You pick a class, and your character fights monsters automatically. Progress continues while you're away — up to 8 hours per idle zone (16 with Premium). Return, claim rewards, upgrade gear, push further. Unlike most idle games, Grindveil has real multiplayer systems: ranked PvP arena, guilds, cooperative dungeons, seasonal Veilstone Pass.

Pick your class

Three classes available — class choice is permanent per character. See the class hub for details:

Warrior

Warrior

Tanky melee brawler — heavy armor, high HP, block chance.

Mage

Mage

Glass cannon spellcaster — highest burst damage, fragile defense.

Blade Dancer

Blade Dancer

Fast critical striker — high dodge, deadly crits, light armor.

Your first hour in The Rift

Head to The Rift. Each portal is a short auto-fight that consumes stamina and rewards gold, XP, and random drops. Start at the lowest portal and climb.

Idle rewards

After defeating your first boss (Rotfang the Gnoll), The Depths unlocks. Your active idle zone farms passively — claim accumulated gold, XP, drops, pet food, and 10 VP per full idle hour.

Equip gear

Grindveil has 8 equipment slots and 6 rarity tiers. Higher rarity = more stat rolls. Higher-rarity items have up to 6 gem sockets for further customization. Always compare Power when swapping.

Progression roadmap

Next milestones: defeat each of the 10 dungeon bosses, join a guild, enter the arena, spend skill tree points (6 branches, ~196 nodes), unlock Pets at Level 15, try fishing and expeditions, join the Veil War faction conflict. Everything compounds.
